Is Hypnotherapy safe?
Hypnotherapy is a very safe therapy. Often people’s interpretations and assumptions of what they think hypnotherapy is about. People have associate hypnotherapy to losing control of your thoughts and feelings but in fact you are always in control of all your emotions and feelings. You are always in control of all your emotions and feelings, but we discuss and explain how the brain processes this to give the client a better understanding of what is actually going on.
In fact, we go into a trance on a day-to-day basis that could be driving a car or sitting in an exam to even exercising at the gym. We do things subconsciously without thinking. Furthermore, this is all science based and based on facts and stats that provide evidence of its effectiveness.
Is Hypnotherapy right for me?
Hypnotherapy is very beneficial if the client is ready to change. Its positive forward-thinking approach enables the client to think about the future in a positive light rather than talking about problems in the past which promotes negative thinking behaviours. We want our client to think from the prefrontal cortex thinking in a positive way, having positive actions and interacting positively with the world and people. That way we don’t sit too long in our primitive negative mind where we constantly think about the past.
