Shane’s Background
The Man behind SMP
The man behind SMP is very much like you. No different but knowing that we have very similar experiences. Having been through the struggles of growing up, there has been a catalogue of life events that have happened to me from bereavements from my mother starting secondary school, to my sister passing during my teen years.
However, through adversities I have stood up and made choices that would put me in a better position in life moving forward. My passion has always been to help others and to achieve their true potential to give them the best satisfaction in the world. Amongst other things in life my weight has always been an issue which affected my mental health as well weighing in at a whopping 18 and half stone. I was unhappy, lacked confident, lost direction. Through the help with the best coaches, they gave me that belief, worth and a fresh perspective.
Losing 9 and half stone I became a new man. A man for the better and a man I could only have dreamt of. The confidence enabled me to complete my qualifications not only in personal training but also becoming a solution focused therapist. Adopting both approaches both mentally and physically to offer a holistic approach and treating the person as a whole. Building a stronger mindset as well as a stronger
body.
